My Desktop Layouts

I like to change up my digital environment sometimes. Do you?

For me it's a calming act... if I feel out of control I can simply switch things up on my computer and such and suddenly everything feels fresh and new to use. I've done something! I've changed something I interact with every day! It keeps me happy. Plus, variety is just nice.

This serves as a little record of how I've set up my desktop over time, I suppose... although it's fairly new so it's not much to look at... wait a year or so and then you will see, hehe.

I save all my wallpaper/colour/sound effects (always Windows 7) etc. for any layout via deskthemepack files. Feel free to ask me for one if you're really that into it, but at the same time I don't know why you would.

My Uyuni-themed desktop.

Not the nicest and I switched the apps and widgets around a bit (several times) but it tided me over and I was happy with it. The little Uyunis are free-to-use adopts from Brie's website!

Unfortunately I don't have the source for the Uyuni art on me anymore... I really apologise. It's somewhere on Pixiv.

artwork source is here~

I switched the resolution on my laptop to 4:3 despite it not being built for that just because it's nicer to look at, in my honest opinion. This one is Shinjuku Gewalt themed... I think it's cute.

My friends joke about my cluttered desktop but really it's incredibly orderly. I usually use my apps in full-screen mode anyways these days... so it doesn't really matter.
