Possessed by blue charm
the Bodhisattva[1] laughs while crying
With wild black hair, the figure who smiles
Unrestrained lust, the splendid, charming figure
Drifting asleep on a late March[2] afternoon
Kannon[3] sang about first love
Before I knew it, my cheeks turned red
The song of affection intoxicated my dreams
This evening, I rendezvous with my first lover
Hoping to reach Nirvana, eternal lover
Playing around freely with my beloved you
Nirvana Bodhisattva and the Merciful Human
Crying out in sleep from ruthless nightmares
the Bodhisattva also sticks its tongue out from pity
In this world of suffering, indulging in struggle
An untreatable disease even Buddha's giving up on
This evening, I rendezvous with my first lover
Hoping to reach Nirvana, eternal lover
Playing around freely with my beloved you
Nirvana Bodhisattva and the Merciful Human
Dyed with ephemeral colours
My gift of vivid love
We'll spend our entire fleeting lives
together in the depths of Hell
