Bleached my hair for the first time since I was little

I bought box dye (well, hair bleach) at the supermarket recently. I bleached my hair today, with the help of a relative because I was too afraid to try on my own.
It advertised itself as being some Nordic Blonde 9 Levels Of Lift Super Ultra Hitler Whatever. And I saw it on the shelf and thought, why not? I've been considering it for months now, more than months, perhaps a year. And there is no better time than now, or so I have been told...
One of the big reasons I was afraid to go for it, as embarrassing as it is to say, is because I really didn't want to look like Nettspend. I mean, you get it, right? Scrawny white boy, bleached hair. What if I looked like him? Women would start avoiding me immediately.

I went to a Harajuku fashion swap meet in the city yesterday. It was... well, it was fun! But I was saddened at the same time.
The rain was killing me. It was killing all of us, really, but the people who were supposed to be selling out front had to do so inside of the little hall the organisers rented out, and it was so cramped and noisy inside, impossible to move at times! And yet the sky kept pouring, pouring, pouring... I died. Thank God I brought my umbrella with me.
Not many people were actually selling Harajuku fashion lol. I would have even taken even Jirai or Gyaru stuff, which is still J-fashion even if it's not out of Harajuku, but people were selling stuff from my country's equivalent of Hot Topic and not anything good either.
When people (and not many people were selling) were selling J-fashion, it was mostly Sweet Lolita or Fairy Kei. I've got nothing against either of these styles, but coming in I really wanted to see if I could get a re-start on my aristo wardrobe. I did not. Maybe next time.
Of course, I came as the Angeler I am. Are you surprised? Only one person recognised the brand, and it was one of the organisers of the event, who also happened to be the only person I bought anything off of... LOL.
Yesterday, while I was busy redoing my site (isn't it cute?), I looked back on a certain tweet by Kikaider, the vocalist of Muchi Muchi Anago.
If you've been paying attention to my mental illness and are at the point where you can recognise him, you will notice that artwork of him is prominently featured in the site layout—via the sidebar and centrepiece image—and two of my buttons. That artwork is not my own, of course! It is by Ayame Adachi, who is possibly better known for her design work.
The tweet I was looking at has three photos: an obnoxiously shiny photo of the cover of some doujinshi, and two photos of essays inside of it written by Kikaider himself and his late bandmate Hachiyama Yumi, better known by his real name Amano Tonbimaru. Kikaider was reminiscing.
The artwork was clearly by Adachi-san, and when I saw it for the first time I thought that (considering the image I was already using in my site at the time was also Kikaider, also cute and also drawn by her) it would be a good decoration for the (rather plain-feeling) sidebar. It was, and it's stuck around, but it's a shame to be basing my layout around only two artworks.
Yours truly found himself back at the post for inspiration, sighing to himself thinking, I wish I at least had a better photo of the art...
A short post for today. I think I caught something and it really hit me this morning. Sigh.
On the bright side, a parcel from my proxy service arrived today! Yay! I was so excited for this despite the small amount of items involved.
What was in it, you ask? A Shinjuku Gewalt hoodie, a Takuya Angel shirt, and Pinokiwo-themed spoons. A very random collection... but these are the three things I've genuinely wanted the most LOL.
I cannot exaggerate just how swimmingly things are going for me as a Toda fan maybe not in general, but as a Toda fan? My current life is great.
I arrived home from college yesterday tired and dizzy after a long afternoon-into-evening of playing Taiko no Tatsujin at the arcade (all my money gone...) and watching maimai sweats in awe. I discovered two packages waiting for me. Two? I had only been paying attention to one package, from the actual postal service, so I was surprised. I had various other things coming via courier but they weren't at the front of my mind lol. I was still excited coz one of them was the one I had been obsessively tracking...
...it's Toda related. Bet you didn't see that coming.
It's New Year's Eve, but that's not so important to me. Today is a great day because... I got mail from my dear friend Freya!!
She lives all the way across the globe (in the UK) so I'm glad it got here before the new year. I'm really happy about it~~ I WILL be using what she got me religiously. (^^)
