MOUSELING.net

Welcome!

Hello there!! You've reached Mousecky's homepage. It must have been a long journey! Sit wherever you'd like!

This is V3 of the site, unveiled the 9th of May 2025... it's based on the last theme, but it's simpler and without the GeGeGe no Kitaro emphasis. I had slowly been introducing more Muchi Muchi Anago artworks without adding any more Kitaro-related ones anyway, and I felt bad about that, so I got rid of it altogether.

I'm a mouse on the Internet. My big passions are Visual Kei and playing with websites such as this one... as well as 70s~80s anime and looking at pictures of rodents and other small animals. I like to collect things and put them on display, for both myself and others, and that's part of why this site exists.

MOUSELING.net is dedicated to my ramblings and personal opinions, my hobbies and interests, my art, and some things I just find interesting. There's always more on the way but I think I've managed an alright amount of stuff here, so feel free to poke around!

This site is not mobile unfriendly, but I make no optimisations for mobile. It's half-responsive, but not well tested. This site is also hosted on Neocities, so you can check out my site profile if you want.

If you have anything to say, please say it! You have E-mail, my guestbook, my chat-box... if you want to privately and anonymousely say something, you even have my webclap in the sidebar (please send me a round of applause if you like my site!) which has a message feature. If you'd like me to reply to one of those I'll have to do it publicly though.

Tokusatsu webring widget. Although I haven't been added yet, LOL.

I forgot the song of the month, so it's here now.
Some style changes. What do we think? Is it cute enough? I've been messing around :-D it's really fun. Changed up the sidebar, replaced the choco background, replaced the centrepiece graphic on the index page, and redid the 404 as well. I also made some new buttons just to deco my homepage, see them above! Anyway, I wanted the site to feel warmer again, so here we are.

I've shuffled the navigation a bit and written a particularly mean-spirited guide on how to be an Angura Kei poser that also serves as an actual tutorial on how I do my shironuri. link here

I cosplayed Toda again today. I liked both the photos I got, but they look samey. I need a VK friend in Brisbane. link here

Swap meet, followed by getting stranded

01 Jun 2025

I went to a Harajuku fashion swap meet in the city yesterday. It was... well, it was fun! But I was saddened at the same time.

The rain was killing me. It was killing all of us, really, but the people who were supposed to be selling out front had to do so inside of the little hall the organisers rented out, and it was so cramped and noisy inside, impossible to move at times! And yet the sky kept pouring, pouring, pouring... I died. Thank God I brought my umbrella with me.

Not many people were actually selling Harajuku fashion lol. I would have even taken even Jirai or Gyaru stuff, which is still J-fashion even if it's not out of Harajuku, but people were selling stuff from my country's equivalent of Hot Topic and not anything good either.

When people (and not many people were selling) were selling J-fashion, it was mostly Sweet Lolita or Fairy Kei. I've got nothing against either of these styles, but coming in I really wanted to see if I could get a re-start on my aristo wardrobe. I did not. Maybe next time.

Of course, I came as the Angeler I am. Are you surprised? Only one person recognised the brand, and it was one of the organisers of the event, who also happened to be the only person I bought anything off of... LOL.

Song of the month!

Proxyon - Boku no Uta wo Subete Kimi ni Aketai

I fully intended on making a Plastic Tree song the feature for this month, but this song has me gripped so hard right now that I don't know what to do with myself. Of course it's deserving of the song of the month spot for June.

It's just...too...good. Please check this song and band out.

Check out the song of the month archive for past features.

My latest personal upload(s)...

Unboxing my new Takuya Angel suit

My custom Takuya Angel set arrived. VERY cute, VERY exciting. Here's the obligatory unboxing video.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (ADAPTER ver.)

Fukusuke covered this song. Jolly good. It took some chopping up to get it working with the TV-size opening. I think every anime opening should be done by this guy.
