Welcome to MOUSELING.net!
MOUSELING.net is dedicated to my ramblings and personal opinions, my hobbies and interests, my art, and some things I just find interesting. There's always more on the way, so feel free to poke around!
This site is not mobile unfriendly, but I make no optimisations for mobile. It's half-responsive, but not well tested.

I got a new shelf...for free.
I think I committed some kind of fraud.
I ordered a cheap shelf from Kmart to be delivered to my house as I need storage for my books and CDs. I sat here and I prayed: please, come to my house soon! But it took a long time.
Now, four days past the due date and it hadn't even moved across the country. I contacted Kmart first. "My shelf hasn't arrived! Here's all my information!" They, rightfully, processed it as lost in transit then gave me a refund. Then I contacted the courier. "My shelf hasn't arrived! Here's all my information!" They got it to me the next day, that is yesterday.

I'm not a gamer. I don't play video games in the way that might come to mind when one thinks of the word gamer; I don't play platformers, shooters, fighting games, or even anything multiplayer. I rarely play Minecraft. The only reason I play Roblox, which I hate on principle, is to burn time with my girlfriend or younger sister when there is nothing else to do.
Yet, I still play video games—and often at that. I like simulation games (The Sims, SPORE, Crusader Kings 3) and mindless card games (Balatro, Riichi Mahjong). There's one broad type of game that requires reactive skills that I'm willing to play, though: arcade-style games. This comes down to two genres: puzzle games (Tetris, Puyo Puyo, Puzzle Fighter Turbo II) and arcade classics (Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Centipede). Lately, out of all arcade games, I've been hooked on the 1982 classic Dig Dug.

Song of the month!
有頂天 - 学校へ行こう
I'm starting study this month. What better than a song called "Let's go to school"?!
Okay, well, that's not why I'm featuring it. This song is really good and I love Uchoten. Every time I listen to them, I fall in love with them all over again. Truly one of the bands of all time.
Check out the song of the month archive for past features.
