Tonight I changed out my septum ring for the first time. 
It's embarrassing that something so simple made me so sad. I don't know. Can piercings have sentimental value? LOL. But it's serious! I got a bit sad putting the new jewellery in...
The thing is that this was my first ever piercing! I got it for i think my 13th or 14th birthday. I wanted to be punk or something! I was so proud of it. I've kept the same basic jewellery in it ever since. Can you believe it...? It's been so long...
If I could start all over again I probably wouldn't get it with the setup I'm going for, but it's still a cute piercing to have. For a few years (years!) I actually couldn't figure out how to get it off 
because the balls were screwed on so tight. Not that I ever wanted to get rid of it...
...but by the time I had all these other piercings, and it actually wouldn't look good with how I have things set up if I got a fancy ring!! So I kept the plain one (with bigger balls to match what I've got going on now).
...but just earlier, one ball fell off from not being on tight enough, and then the ring slid out, to my dismay. I couldn't find it on the floor. So I had to open my drawer and replace the jewellery with an equally plain horseshoe.
...but that's all I wanted to say today. Until next time
