This is the page for the "song of the month" features on my website. Starting from December 2024, I've chosen to embed one song for each month in the year!

Hoping this can get someone into my favourite bands...or at least provide good background music for my site hehe.

I really love Guruguru Eigakan... especially lately. There's just so much fun to be had with their Showa aesthetics and stupid antics.

I remember reading a live report about how some dude was on stage in his underwear and one of the members drop-kicked him... how I wish I was there!

I fully intended on making a Plastic Tree song the feature for this month, but this song has me gripped so hard right now that I don't know what to do with myself. Of course it's deserving of the song of the month spot for June.

It's just...too...good. Please check this song and band out.

This one is a cover. It's still ridiculously dear to me. I have very fond memories of sitting with this one on repeat while doing all sorts of things... working on my site, talking to my friends, walking around in the city, and so on...

The original song is by Kera & the Synthesizers, and it's a lovely track! But something about this cover really grips me... it's so feel-good and just wonderful. Even if the vocoder overload can never match Kera's lovely voice lol

This is just a really good track. Many of my friends aren't into this stuff but there are a few who do and I'm grateful to have them! The sense of contrast in this song is really great.

I have been particularly into the album White Tiger lately. It's an amazing work, my only complaint is that it's too short... 24 minutes simply doesn't tide me over! D-:

So so so so sweet. I have many fond memories with this one! A cute track worthy of a thousand replays.

It's got some really cute lyrics and a really fun, upbeat tune. Gets stuck in my head often...! I was originally considering this to be the song for December, but that ADAPTER。 track got me in the end.

Ouff, what a mouthful of a title. And a long track to go with it. It's good, though!

A remix of the opening to one of my childhood favourite anime. When I was 12 I would skip class to watch my torrented PreCure download that took up literally 60% of the space on my laptop. So... it's very dear to me.

Check this one out! A slower track by GPKism. Makes me feel super good every time. Something about the instrumental is... cute?

It feels kind of poppier and lighter than GPK's other tracks tend to. He usually deals in total gothic darkwave stuff.

Mirai Kaze is one of my favourite songs by ADAPTER。

It's super calming and cute-sounding. I like the lyrics too.
