My Sim Jozeph II

I've never played a Sims game other than 4, and as a child, all I did in the Sims 4 was torture people and get rich. But suddenly I want to roleplay. Suddenly I want to have fun and live a second life. I have a lovely iBook with 1.5 gibblebytes of ram, and I want to use it all up running the Sims 2.

The character creator is stupidly fun. All of a sudden, I greatly understand women and their love for this series—who doesn't like customisation?!?!

I have created a character: Jozeph II. That's his screen, name at least. In real life he goes by Joseph, ignoring that his real name is Joseph.

He's an overly performative goth chick (male). What he wants most in life is to become as vampiric as possible and gain a lover who understands his dark and brooding heart and soul. I don't yet know if that involves becoming gay; it depends on if he meets a suitably Gothic sim who is hot and/or wealthy and also male...

His aspiration, obviously, is Romance. His fears seem to always be to do with sex and urination. The moment I started the game, he was terrified of being rejected hitting on someone or asking for sex, as well as public toilets—when his wants and fears changed, he was still terrified of rejection, but this time he was also scared of wetting himself.

How pathetic.

Currently, he's writing a novel. I assume it's very amateur vampire fanfiction about his favourite... his favourite whatever. I dunno what he's into yet. His Interests say he's very into fashion; I don't know what I did to get to this point but that makes sense. He's a goth after all.

A friend of mine told me, "his body is tea". Translated from homo-speak, this means he looks good. I think I agree.

Jozeph tried to call up one of those Sims who raided my house uninvited the moment I started up the game, asking her to come over, and she told him to kill himself. Rude. He realised that, maybe, he should get a job...

...and picked one up in the Slacker career. Lazy bastard. Well, he had to move out of his parents' house thanks to his unwillingness to pay his own way. At least he's doing something with his life now. He gets paid a pitifully low amount per day.

I wonder if I should find and install any custom content or mods to make his life worse. There's still time. He hasn't even flirted with anyone yet.
