Introduction
To make a website, you have to use some kind of impossible to understand code, right?
"HTML sauce"? What's that, does it taste good?
Do you have the idea that in order to make a website you need to learn a lot of technical terms, HTML source code and all sorts of programming jargon? But websites made with site builders like Wix and Squarespace can feel bland, and hiring a designer can be expensive.
If you ask a professional web designer for a quote, you'll think:
What the heck!? Did they tack an extra 0 onto this price!?
Does that sound right?
Because of this situation, many people believe creating a website is a very specialised affair only for professionals and nerds.
But making your own website is not as hard as you think!
You'll have to learn a few things, like HTML markup and stylesheets, but if you try just a litle you might be shocked a how easy it is. You can create your very own website in no time!
I hope that this page will help you learn how to create a website, as well as basic HTML and stylesheets.
This page is my adaptation of the original Japanese website, how-to-homepage. It's very cute and friendly, but it's not in English, and some of the advice is outdated, so I wanted to bring it over to be accessible to an overseas audience.
The adaptation is currently incomplete. Please give me some time!
