Today I went thrifting. Hooray! I was poking around one final time for tartan pants for my cosplay. Unfortunately, I didn't find any.
I saw a lot of good button-up shirts in the three places I visited, some with cute animal print patterns and some more white~cream coloured and frilly(?)... Like, the type you see Visual Kei fans on social media wearing LOL. but when I tried them all on they were... gross lol. Some of them were see-through, some of them were kind of plasticky, and when they were good the fit wasn't very nice on my body... sigh.
It doesn't rlly matter how much weight I lose if I have a wide ribcage 
but that's fine. I'll find something with a nicer fit eventually... anyways, I want some darker tops too, and it's good to control my spending. I have a convention to go to tomorrow and waste money on after all. I'll keep my eye out another time.
As for what I did get, I scored a pair of boots first off. It's really nice to have small feet (for a guy) coz it means I can score cute stuff like that more easily... but it doesn't stop me getting disappointed when I check the size on a cute pair of slip-ons or whatever and it's too small for me LOL.
They're black and have buckles on the side (decorative, they clearly zip up). They were labelled "as is" on the price tag? But I've got no idea what's wrong with them? There's, like, one small scratch that's not very noticeable. They zip up nicely and are comfortable to wear. I really like them and I think it's a good excuse to dress more Gothic!

I also got a black pair of jeans. A nice dark black, too! None of that dark-grey that I also tend to call black out of convenience... the fit is really nice. They're women's jeans of course but they're wide-fit! So they don't stick to my calves and don't make my thighs look massive, which is what women's jeans tend to do to me. I don't usually expect much in the way of pants from second-hand clothing stores... so it's really nice to get something that complements my body for once. They go really well with the boots too.
...but that was all. Not a huge haul today. That's fine by me 
I'm really satisfied with what I did get, instead of being kind of satisfied by a lot of things.
That's all I have to say for today unless something life-changing happens this afternoon. (It is only 11AM as I write this after all.) I'm gonna relax today and get an early sleep tonight. I have to get up early tomorrow to put all my face paint on!
