Commissions

I just graduated and decided to switch careers, and you see, until my next course starts (in January 2026), I'm "kind of in between schools right now". In some less graceful wording, I'm officially a NEET. NEETmaxxing... oh how I hated this life the last time...
What's the remedy to my poor income? I can make people on the Internet pay me money, of course!
The deal is simple: YOU can pay me money, and I can draw you something. YOU get a custom piece of artwork and I get cash. Doesn't that sound like a good deal?! I can give your favourite character the craziest hair shine you've ever seen! (My biggest strength) In fact, if you pay me extra, I could even arrange to have the original of your artwork mailed to you. I work exclusively traditionally these days.
I live in Australia, but all my prices are in USD *sweat* so please be mindful of that.
My Prices
Type | Lines | Colours |
---|---|---|
Headshot | $8 | $12 |
Halfbody | $15 | $20 |
Fullbody | $20 | $30 |
Chibi | N/A | $10 |
More characters are an extra 50% on top of the base price each.
If you would like to arrange for you, that will be an extra $20 plus the cost of international postage. (I'm sentimental, okay!)
My Terms
01. What you're actually getting
All my artwork is sketched on A4 paper in pencil, lined on A4 paper with fineliner, and coloured using department store markers. I then scan them in high quality—my scanner is very fancy and I can scan your artwork for you in up to 1200 DPI, although I probably will only provide the 600 DPI scans unless you specifically ask for it. If you are getting a coloured commission, I can scan in the linework before I colour it in.
All my commissions are for my "cartoony" style art; if you like me for my more "anime" stuff, I'm afraid I can't provide that (yet). My style can be fluid at times, but please be aware, you'll be getting something like the examples linked in the price table.
However, my "chibi" option is inspired by old otaku art. I don't colour these traditionally, and I don't want to until I feel more confident in myself—the lines to these are scanned in, coloured with the fill bucket, and shdded with the lasso tool. I can provide the high quality lines, medium quality colours, and low quality JPEG-ified versions of your artwork. You must accept that these artworks are, well, amateur-looking.
- Communications are preferably through E-mail: mouse@picopico.org. If you have me on an instant messenger, that works too.
- Payments are through PayPal or Ko-fi.
- Turnaround time can be anywhere from a few days to a month.
02. What I want from you
- Adequate reference: I can't stress this enough. A clear picture (or pictures!) of your subject is good, a commission reference sheet is great. I can still make do, though.
- Upfront payment: This can either be 50% or 100% upfront—unless you're a dear friend I trust—but I need a deposit to ensure you're not looking for free art :p
- Credit me: If you're posting me anywhere, please just credit me! Mousecky from MOUSELING.net drew it for you. Even better, if you're on Toyhouse, my username is zazanbo.
02. What I can do
- I can draw humans and anthro characters.
- I can try to draw ferals if you're okay with slightly botched work.
- I can try to draw ponies, but I'm still an amateur.
- I can try simple mecha. Again, expect amateur work.
- I can draw real people, especially musicians. I'm even finer with drawing those real people as furries.
- I can do simple props. I can draw your frumpy maid with an old broom at no extra cost.
- I can keep your commission private at no cost.
03. What I can't do
- Pornography: Not my specialty; I'm sure there are plenty of artists who could satisfy you.
- Complicated mecha: Just not my thing. This kind of includes most Kamen Riders.
- Gore/guro: Not yet, anyway. I can stll draw your character with a scraped knee or something.
I also reserve a right to refuse a commission if I don't want to or can't do it at the time. Please be patient with me!
