I like music a lot.
My favourite kinds of music are picopico and nerdcore techno. They're both Japanese scenes full of very unique guys... namely punk-spirit freaks who love New Wave (picopico) and UNIX nerds (nerdcore techno).
They both love to remix, cover & sample things.
There is a group of musicians called the Handaya Rave crew. They are a continuation of the label Hakke Shoukai, who were actually a sublabel of XROGER. If you happen to recognise that word, you're also a UNIX nerd! Loser!
For all of time, this group has been sampling the following track:
They take it, shove otaku samples into it (particularly from ToHeart), and have a lot of fun with it.
I think it was SK1 who came up with it first. The joke is: if you put the sound of "Fuck Martinez" into Japanese and re-parse it, it becomes "FUCK! Multi ne". Multi is the name of one such character from this ToHeart game. (She's the cutest one, in fact.)
Not many of these remixes are on YouTube, but they actually did this so much that they pushed an entire album from it. You can buy it on BandCamp here.
There is a song by the band P-MODEL: DUSToid, is Your Walk Comfortable? This song is good on its own, but what makes it great to me is just how often one soundbyte originating from it is sampled by other musicians I love.
There is no upload of the album recording, but I will present a live version of the moment everybody loves:
That's right—a stubborn man saying "yes." blankly earns that many cheers. I bet you're just jealous that you can't get that praise for so little. My guess is that if you had the presentation, and a laser harp, people would take you more seriously...
Anyway, it's been sampled a thousand times. Let me demonstrate!
